The Stephill SSD10000S 8kW Super Silent Diesel Generator is a robust, professional-grade power solution designed for demanding site, commercial and standby applications.
Delivering a continuous and maximum output of 10kVA / 8kW, it provides both 230V and 115V electrical outputs, making it suitable for standard single-phase equipment and reduced-voltage professional site tools.
Kubota Water-Cooled Diesel Engine
The SSD10000S is powered by a dependable 3000rpm Kubota water-cooled diesel engine.
Its water-cooled design helps maintain a consistent operating temperature during extended use, while integrated engine-protection systems include:
- High engine-temperature shutdown
- Low oil-pressure shutdown
These features help protect the engine against potentially damaging operating conditions and support dependable long-term performance.
Electric Key Start
A convenient electric key-start system provides straightforward and reliable operation.
This makes the generator particularly suitable for regular professional use where quick and effortless starting is important.
Super-Silent Acoustic Enclosure
The generator is housed within a close-fitting skid-mounted acoustic cabinet designed to reduce operating noise while protecting the engine, alternator and internal components.
Large access doors provide convenient entry for servicing, inspection and routine maintenance.
With a stated noise level of approximately 67dB(A) at 7m, the SSD10000S is suitable for applications where reduced sound levels are beneficial.
230V and 115V Outputs
The generator includes a comprehensive selection of industrial sockets:
- 1 × 115V 16A
- 2 × 115V 32A
- 2 × 230V 16A
- 1 × 230V 32A
This socket configuration makes the SSD10000S suitable for construction equipment, lighting, tools, workshop machinery and general temporary-power applications.
The outputs include overload protection, while an RCD is fitted to the 230V supply for additional electrical protection.
Brushless NSM Alternator
The Kubota engine is close-coupled to a professional NSM brushless alternator.
The maintenance-free alternator is designed to provide dependable performance for demanding industrial and commercial applications.
Automatic Voltage Regulation is not fitted as standard on this version, although an AVR-equipped configuration may be available as an option.
Long-Range Fuel Tank
The integrated 37-litre diesel tank provides up to approximately 13 hours of runtime at 75% load.
Actual runtime will depend on the connected electrical load, operating conditions and maintenance of the generator.
Skid-Mounted Design
The SSD10000S is supplied in a skid-mounted configuration as standard.
Optional mobility equipment may include:
