The Stephill SE4500DYES is a compact 3.3kW silenced diesel generator designed for construction, hire, commercial, agricultural and standby-power applications. The Stephill SE4500DYES 3.3kW Silenced Diesel Generator is a compact, economical and dependable power solution manufactured in the UK by Stephill Generators.

Designed to bridge the gap between conventional open-frame diesel generators and quieter petrol alternatives, the SE4500DYES combines the fuel efficiency and durability of diesel power with a noise-reducing enclosure suitable for professional and standby applications.

Delivering a continuous and maximum output of 4.2kVA / 3.3kW, it is suitable for construction sites, workshops, hire fleets, agricultural operations, mobile trades and backup-power requirements.

Yanmar Stage V Diesel Engine

The SE4500DYES is powered by a reliable Yanmar L70V diesel engine compliant with EU Stage V emissions requirements.

The air-cooled engine is designed to provide dependable performance, good fuel economy and straightforward servicing. Warning indicators alert the operator to:

• Low oil pressure
• Battery-charging failure

These features help protect the engine and electrical system during operation.

Electric Key Start

The generator features convenient electric key starting, allowing quick and straightforward operation.

This makes it particularly suitable for frequent professional use and applications where effortless starting is important.

Dual 230V and 115V Output

The SE4500DYES is equipped with three BS4343 industrial sockets:

• 1 × 115V 16A
• 1 × 115V 32A
• 1 × 230V 16A

Its dual-voltage configuration makes it suitable for reduced-voltage professional site tools and standard 230V equipment.

Each output includes overload protection, while the rubber-bushed control box helps protect the electrical components against vibration during transport and operation.

Important Dual-Voltage Information

When operating at 115V, a dual-voltage generator may not provide its full rated output through an individual socket.

Available power is restricted by the voltage and current rating of the connected socket. Allowance should also be made for motors, pumps and other equipment requiring additional starting current.

Brushless NSM Alternator

The generator uses a brushless, maintenance-free NSM alternator designed to provide a smooth electrical waveform.

Its robust construction and reduced maintenance requirements make it well suited to professional tools, lighting and general site equipment.

Automatic Voltage Regulation is not fitted to this model.

Silenced Enclosure

The SE4500DYES is housed within a noise-reducing enclosure, producing a stated sound level of approximately 71dB(A) at 7m.

This makes it quieter than many conventional open-frame diesel generators and suitable for applications where reduced operating noise is beneficial.

Long-Run Fuel Tank

The integrated 13-litre diesel tank provides up to approximately 17 hours of runtime, depending on the connected load and operating conditions.
