The Pramac GDW565V/FS2 is a professional industrial diesel generating set engineered for applications requiring dependable high-capacity three-phase power.

At the heart of the generator is the Volvo TAD1641GE, a 16.1-litre six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine operating at 1500rpm. The engine features electronic speed governing, water cooling and a 24V electric starting system.

The generator delivers 560.5kVA / 448.4kW Emergency Standby Power and 509.5kVA / 407.6kW Prime Power, making it suitable for emergency backup installations as well as extended operation under variable electrical loads.

An optional Data Centre Power configuration is also available, providing 511.9kVA / 409.5kW DCP output for suitable data centre applications.

Volvo Industrial Diesel Engine

The Volvo TAD1641GE combines substantial displacement with strong industrial performance and proven durability.

Mecc Alte Alternator

Electrical generation is handled by the Mecc Alte ECO40 1L4 C brushless alternator.

The alternator provides a 601kVA standby rating at 27°C and a 550kVA continuous nominal rating at 40°C.

It offers approximately 94.8% efficiency at full load, Class H insulation, IP23 protection and approximately ±0.5% voltage tolerance.

Fuel consumption is approximately:

A wide range of optional fuel tanks is available with capacities from 500 litres up to 4,500 litres.

Depending on the selected tank, approximate runtime at 75% PRP ranges from 6.28 hours to 56.51 hours.

Automatic Mains Failure Control

The optional ACP Automatic Control Panel provides Auto Mains Failure functionality for standby installations.

The system offers full generator monitoring and protection, detailed event and performance logging, remote-control compatibility and optional I/O expansion.

Parallel Generator Operation

For larger power installations, the optional MPP Modular Parallel Panel enables the GDW565V/FS2 to operate in parallel with other generating sets.

Up to 32 generator sets can be configured for parallel operation, making this model suitable for large industrial systems, load sharing and redundancy applications.

Open, Canopy & Extra Silent Versions

The GDW565V/FS2 is available in open-frame, weatherproof canopy and Extra Silent canopy configurations.

The standard canopy uses galvanized sheet-steel construction and acoustic insulation to protect the generator in demanding environments.

The standard canopy provides approximately:

• 85 dB(A) sound pressure at 1 metre
• 75 dB(A) sound pressure at 7 metres

The Extra Silent version reduces this to approximately:
