The Pramac GDW505S/FNE is a professional industrial diesel generating set engineered for applications where dependable high-capacity three-phase power is essential.

At the heart of the generator is the Scania DC13 072A 02-13, a 12.7-litre six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine operating at 1500rpm. The engine features electronic speed governing, water cooling and a 24V electric starting system.

The generator provides 506.1kVA / 404.9kW Emergency Standby Power and 464.7kVA / 371.8kW Prime Power, making it suitable for both emergency backup installations and extended operation under variable electrical loads.

An optional Data Centre Power configuration is also available, providing 464.7kVA / 371.8kW DCP output for suitable data centre applications.

Scania Industrial Diesel Engine

The Scania DC13 072A 02-13 combines strong power output with proven industrial durability and efficient operating performance.

Mecc Alte Alternator

Electrical generation is handled by the Mecc Alte ECO40 3S4 C brushless alternator.

The alternator provides a 546kVA standby rating at 27°C and a 500kVA continuous nominal rating at 40°C.

It offers approximately 94.6% efficiency at full load, Class H insulation, IP23 protection and approximately ±0.5% voltage tolerance.

Fuel Consumption & Runtime

Fuel consumption is approximately:

66.26 litres per hour at 75% Prime Power

89.24 litres per hour at 100% Prime Power

A range of optional fuel tanks is available with capacities from 500 litres up to 4,500 litres.

Depending on the selected configuration, approximate runtime at 75% PRP ranges from 7.55 hours to 67.91 hours.

Automatic Mains Failure Control

The optional ACP Automatic Control Panel provides Auto Mains Failure functionality for standby installations.

The system offers full generator monitoring and protection, detailed event and performance logging, remote-control compatibility and optional I/O expansion.

Parallel Generator Operation

For larger installations, the optional MPP Modular Parallel Panel enables the GDW505S/FNE to operate in parallel with other generating sets.

Up to 32 generator sets can be configured for parallel operation, making this model suitable for large industrial power systems, load sharing and redundancy applications.

Open, Canopy & Extra Silent Versions

The GDW505S/FNE is available in open-frame, weatherproof canopy and Extra Silent canopy configurations.

The standard canopy uses galvanized sheet-steel construction and high-quality soundproofing materials to protect the generator in demanding environments while reducing operating noise.

The standard canopy provides approximately:

• 98 dB(A) guaranteed sound power
• 78 dB(A) sound pressure at 1 metre
• 68 dB(A) sound pressure at 7 metres

The Extra Silent version reduces this further to approximately:

• 95 dB(A) guaranteed sound power
• 75 dB(A) sound pressure at 1 metre
• 65 dB(A) sound pressure at 7 metres
