The Pramac GDW355B/FNE is a professional industrial diesel generating set engineered for applications where dependable high-capacity power is essential.

At the heart of the generator is the Baudouin 6M16G350/5 diesel engine, a 9.7-litre six-cylinder unit featuring turbocharged and aftercooled aspiration, electronic speed governing and water cooling.

Operating at a low 1500rpm, the engine produces up to 320kWm gross mechanical power in ESP operation and 291kWm in PRP operation.

The generator provides 356.5kVA / 285.2kW Emergency Standby Power and 322.6kVA / 258.1kW Prime Power, making it suitable for standby installations as well as extended operation under variable electrical loads.

Baudouin Industrial Diesel Engine

The Baudouin 6M16G350/5 has been developed for demanding industrial generator applications and combines strong power output with robust mechanical construction.

Key engine characteristics include a 9,726cm³ displacement, six cylinders in-line, turbocharged and aftercooled aspiration, electronic governing and a 24V electric starting system.

The engine has a total oil capacity of 22 litres and coolant capacity of 22 litres.

Mecc Alte Alternator

Electrical output is produced by the Mecc Alte ECO38 2L4 C brushless alternator.

The alternator provides a standby rating of 370kVA at 27°C and a continuous nominal rating of 350kVA at 40°C.

It offers approximately 93.5% efficiency at full load, Class H insulation, IP23 protection and approximately ±1% voltage tolerance.

Fuel Consumption & Runtime

Fuel consumption is approximately:

53.21 litres per hour at 75% Prime Power

70.68 litres per hour at 100% Prime Power

Several fuel tank options are available to suit different operating requirements.

Tank capacities range from 650 litres up to 4,000 litres, providing approximate runtimes at 75% PRP from 12.22 hours up to 75.17 hours depending on the selected configuration.

Automatic Mains Failure Control

The optional ACP Automatic Control Panel provides Automatic Mains Failure functionality, allowing the generator to operate as part of a standby power installation.

The system provides generator monitoring and protection, event and performance logging, remote control compatibility and optional I/O expansion.

Parallel Generator Operation

For more complex installations, the optional MPP Modular Parallel Panel enables the generator to operate in parallel with other generator sets.

The system can support parallel operation of up to 32 generator sets, making it suitable for larger industrial installations, load sharing and redundancy applications.

Open & Canopy Versions

The GDW355B/FNE is available in both open-frame and weatherproof canopy configurations.

The standard canopy uses galvanized sheet steel and soundproofing materials to protect the generator from demanding environmental conditions while helping to reduce operating noise.

The canopy version offers approximately:

• 97 dB(A) guaranteed sound power
• 78 dB(A) sound pressure at 1 metre
• 68 dB(A) sound pressure at 7 metres

An Extra Silent canopy is also available with a guaranteed sound power level of approximately 94 dB(A).
