The Pramac GDW330V/FS2 is a powerful 330kVA diesel generator designed for demanding industrial, commercial, standby and data centre applications. Powered by the proven Volvo TAD1342GE 12.8-litre six-cylinder diesel engine and paired with a Mecc Alte ECO38 1L4 C alternator, it delivers 330kVA / 264kW Emergency Standby Power and 300kVA / 240kW Prime Power. Operating at 400/230V, 50Hz and 1500rpm, the GDW330V/FS2 offers excellent reliability, robust construction and flexible control options for professional three-phase power installations.

The Pramac GDW330V/FS2 264kW Diesel Generator is a heavy-duty industrial generating set engineered for applications where dependable standby or prime power is essential.

At the heart of the generator is the Volvo TAD1342GE diesel engine, a 12.8-litre, six-cylinder turbocharged power unit operating at a low 1500rpm. The engine provides up to 343kWm gross mechanical power in ESP operation and 313kWm in Prime Power operation, giving the generator ample capacity for demanding industrial electrical loads.

The GDW330V/FS2 delivers 330kVA / 264kW Emergency Standby Power and 300kVA / 240kW Prime Power, making it suitable for both backup installations and extended operation with variable loads.

It is also available with an optional Data Centre Power configuration, providing 300kVA / 240kW DCP output for suitable data centre installations.

Volvo Industrial Diesel Engine

The Volvo TAD1342GE engine combines proven industrial durability with electronic speed governing and water cooling.

Mecc Alte Alternator

Electrical generation is provided by the Mecc Alte ECO38 1L4 C brushless alternator.

The alternator is rated at 330kVA standby at 27°C and 300kVA continuous nominal output at 40°C, with approximately 93.7% efficiency at full load.

It features Class H insulation, IP23 protection and a voltage tolerance of approximately ±1%.

Fuel Consumption & Runtime

Fuel efficiency is an important consideration on a generator of this size.

Approximate fuel consumption is:

46.29 litres per hour at 75% Prime Power

60.83 litres per hour at 100% Prime Power

Several fuel tank configurations are available, including capacities from 500 litres up to 4,000 litres.

Depending on the tank selected, runtime at approximately 75% PRP can range from around 10.8 hours to 86.41 hours.

Automatic Mains Failure Control

The optional ACP Automatic Control Panel provides Automatic Mains Failure functionality, making the GDW330V/FS2 ideal for standby installations.

The control system provides generator monitoring, protection, event logging and compatibility with a wide range of remote control and expansion modules.

Parallel Generator Operation

For larger power systems, the optional MPP Modular Parallel Panel allows the generator to operate in parallel with other generating sets.

Up to 32 generator sets can be configured for parallel operation, providing excellent flexibility for load sharing, redundancy and larger-scale installations.

Open & Canopy Versions

The Pramac GDW330V/FS2 is available as both an open generator and a weatherproof sound-reduced canopy version.

The canopy uses galvanized sheet steel to protect the generating set from corrosion and demanding environmental conditions, while large lockable access doors simplify servicing and maintenance.

The standard canopy version produces approximately:

• 97 dB(A) guaranteed sound power
• 78 dB(A) at 1 metre
• 68 dB(A) at 7 metres

An Extra Silent canopy is also available, reducing the guaranteed sound power level to approximately 94 dB(A).
