The Neilsen D4500i Dual-Fuel Inverter Generator is a versatile portable power solution designed for home backup, mobile working, events, leisure use and other applications requiring a stable single-phase electrical supply.

Its dual-fuel system allows the generator to operate using either petrol or LPG. This provides greater flexibility when one fuel type is unavailable and can be particularly useful for emergency backup applications or users who prefer the storage characteristics of LPG.

When operating on petrol, the D4500i delivers a maximum electrical output of 4.0kW and a continuous rated output of 3.8kW. When operating on LPG, it provides a maximum output of 3.6kW and a continuous rated output of 3.42kW.

The generator has a rated output current of 16.5A on petrol and 14.8A on LPG. Its inverter technology provides a stable 230V AC supply at 50Hz for compatible appliances, chargers, tools and electronic equipment within the generator’s rated capacity.

Power is supplied by a 192cc single-cylinder, four-stroke OHV engine with a maximum engine output of 4.75kW. The air-cooled engine operates at speeds of up to 4,800rpm and is designed to provide reliable performance across a range of portable and backup power applications.

Remote starting and one-push starting make the generator convenient to operate without relying solely on a conventional recoil-start procedure. This is particularly useful when the generator is positioned away from the immediate working area or used regularly for backup power.

The large 12-litre petrol tank provides approximately 9.5 hours of operation at 50% load. Actual runtime will vary depending on fuel type, electrical demand, operating conditions and maintenance.

In addition to the 230V AC supply, the D4500i includes a 12V DC output rated at 8A and a 5V USB outlet delivering up to 3.1A. These outputs provide convenient power for compatible charging applications and portable electronic devices.

Weighing 37kg, the D4500i offers increased output and fuel capacity while remaining more compact than many conventional open-frame generators of a similar power level.
